Andreia
Nunes was born
on the 20th of
January, 1982, in Oporto,
Portugal.
In 1999 she was
awarded with the first
place of
a Students Prize entitled "The Identification
of
a City", organized by the City Hall
of
Maia. In 2000 she entered in Fine Arts Faculty
of
Oporto
University. In 2004 she participated in the "Young Students
of
Art" Painting Prize, organized by the Cultural Development
Interdistrict Committee. She also participated in the XVII Spring
Salon at the Casino Estoril Art Gallery, where she was awarded with
an Honourable Mention. In the school year 2003/2004 she integrated
the list of
students who apply for
the Merit Scholarship of
the Fine Arts Faculty of
Oporto
University.
In the school year
2004/2005 she attends the Erasmus Programme, having attended the "École
de Beaux Arts de Bordeaux" for
four
months. In June 2005 she participated
for
the second time in the above mentioned Spring Salon
of
Casino Estoril. In the school year 2004/2005 she concluded
her Degree in
Plastic Arts Painting, with the final mark
of
15
(out
of
20). In 2006 she won the first
prize of
the "Summer in
the Algarve" Painting
Contest, organized by Vila Sol Spa & Golf
