A arte e o coleccionismo são duas paixões que adquiri desde muito novo.

Com apenas cinco anos adquiri a minha primeira peça de colecção: um reflector de luz de uma bicicleta em vidro vermelho lapidado.

A partir daí iniciei o meu percurso como coleccionador, dando grande importância à arte e às antiguidades. Através de cada obra ou objecto existe muita história e muitas recordações que marcaram as nossas vidas. Desta forma contribuem para o nosso enriquecimento cultural e muitas vezes até para o património nacional, porque entendo que o passado é «um livro aberto» através do qual podemos adquirir memórias, exemplos e ensinamentos, que nos são úteis para vivermos o presente e projectarmos o futuro.

O meu objectivo com esta colecção aqui presente é poder partilhar as mesmas emoções por mim sentidas com todos os que visitam esta exposição.

Art and the hobby of collecting are two passions that I have acquired since a very young age.

When I was only five years old, I acquired my first piece: a bicycle light reflector in polished red glass.

Since than, I began my journey as a colector, giving great importance to art and antiquities. Through each artwork of object, a lot of history exists, and very often, memories that leave a mark in our lives, in that way, they contribute to our cultural enrichement, and many times even to national heritage, because I believe that the past is «an opened book» through wich we can earn memories, exemples and lessons that will be useful for living the present and to design the future.

My purpose with this present colection is to be able to share the same emotions felt by myself, with whoever visits this exhibition.
